About Women's Ministries
Our overall goal for Woman's Ministries is founded on the three principles that make up a healthy church:
- winning new believers to Christ while proclaiming the truth of God's Word
- building women in their faith by strengthening relationships
- equipping women to influence others as the Lord's image-bearer.
This
progression takes place when God's gift of salvation and grace is
shared and received by another. Believers are then built up and
encouraged through the study of God's Word and prayer, forgiveness and
fellowship are developed as hearts become set on the things of a holy
God.
As women within the body of
Christ at First Friends Church (FFC), we possess unique opportunities
to affect lives as we continue in faithfulness by investing ourselves
spiritually in our relationships with our mothers, daughters, friends
and all the other precious women the Lord brings into our lives.

Study/Prayer Groups
The Women's Ministries offer a number of study and prayer groups throughout the week.
Women's Ministry Team
Be
part of this opportunity for creative service for the organization and
preparation for Women's Brunches, Mother-Daughter-Friend Banquet and
other areas of women's ministry.
Many women are needed
to share their God-given gifts and talents for this vital and dynamic
outreach ministry. Committees: food, program, child care, name tags,
reservations, set up, prayer team and decorations.
First
Friends Women's brunches provide a special time of sharing delicious
food and delightful friendships as we invite neighbors and friends for
an enjoyable time of song and powerful presentations of God at work in
our midst. Child care provided.
Women's Missionary Fellowship
Meetings
are held on the first Tuesday of the month, and they feature
missionaries and other guest speakers who have personal experience with
missions all around the world. Their presentations equip women to pray
effectively and participate in occasional service projects for the
mission fields.
