Thank you all for your prayers and any financial support you were able to give! God blessed our socks off and we are still reaping the blessing from the trip!
We had a wonderful time ministering in Jamaica. God touched everything from the times at Sandy Bay school teaching children to read and doing VBS, to evangelism in the park. It all was above our expectations.
It was awesome to watch our team and the Jr. High students become one team; one family, really. The big division of age, maturity, and experience was shattered by the ever-present love of our Heavenly Father. Each person played a role and each person’s role was important and useful for the trip. It reminds me of the scripture in Ephesians 4:15-16 that says, “…we are able to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
We have all grown up into Christ and were fit together for one purpose, to build up the body in love. Just ask someone from the trip…we all have our stories of growth personally and for the whole body!
