Since its dedication in 1946, First Friends Church
(FFC) has reached into the community to be a positive Christian
influence in many areas. Such associations and support include:
- Habitat for Humanity
- Refuge Ministries
- Young Life
- Grief and Divorce Recovery
- Salvation Army
- Friends Disaster Service
- Pregnancy Support Center
- Prison Ministries
FFC is also actively involved in campus ministries as the sister church of Malone College,
a 78 acre campus in Canton, Ohio. This four year, liberal arts college
is fully accredited, and all courses are taught with Christian
emphasis. Malone College offers training in a variety of fields leading
to either the Bachelor of Arts degree or the Bachelor of Science
degree. Graduate programs in Christian ministries and education are
also offered.

The church carries on a worldwide ministry through missionary programs in:

The
central purpose of FFC's mission efforts is to build Christ-honoring
churches in these countries, to train national leaders and to minister
to the physical needs of the people through medical work.
