Upside Down
From a human perspective, every thing about the gospel is the opposite of what it should be. The first become the last and the last become the first. A king sacrifices himself for his people, rather than demanding that his subjects die to advance his purposes. Those who try to save their lives will lose them, while those who lose their lives for the sake of the King will save them. This Holy Week, we remember and celebrate the upside down Kingdom of God, in which broken, sinful, spiritually dead people are given new life through the cross of Jesus.

The Ten Commandments
Although we are familiar with the concept of the Ten Commandments and may even be able to list a number of them, we are often NOT aware of how God’s character, grace, and love permeate His law. Over the first three months of 2025, we will look together into the Ten Words that God gave Israel at Mount Sinai. Our goal will be to see God reveal Himself to the ancient Jewish nation, and to receive that same revelation as a church family in our contemporary context.
